Whereas by Notification No. S.O. 878(E), dated 30th November, 1992, issued under clause (b) of the Explanation to section 35AC of the Income-tax Act, 1961 (43 of 1961), the Central Government had specified at serial number 8, the Hospital Centre Project at Trivandrum of Ramakrishna Math, Belur Math, District Howrah, West Bengal-711 202, as an eligible project or scheme for a period of three assessment years commencing from the assessment year 1993-94 ;

And whereas the said project or scheme is likely to extend beyond three years ;

And whereas the National Committee has, being satisfied that the said project or scheme is being executed properly, made a further recommendation under sub-rule (5) of rule 11M of the Income-tax Rules, 1962, for specifying the said project or scheme for a further period of three years ;

Now, therefore, the Central Government in exercise of the powers conferred by clause (b) of the Explanation to section 35AC of the Income-tax Act, 1961, hereby specifies the Hospital Project at Trivandrum of the Ramakrishna Math, Belur Math, District Howrah, West Bengal-711 202, at the estimated cost of rupees fifty-six lakhs as an eligible project or scheme for a further period of three assessment years commencing from the assessment year 1996-97.

Rules it names. Rule 11M of the Income-tax Rules, 1962. The 1962 Rules were replaced by the Income-tax Rules, 2026, which renumbered nearly everything: a rule number quoted here almost never means the same rule today.
