In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (ii) of sub-section (1) of section 80L of the Income-tax Act, 1961 (43 of 1961), the Central Government hereby specifies the 16% (Taxable) Unsecured Redeemable Bonds (Series II) bearing distinctive numbers from 199927 to 389908 of Rs. 10,000 each aggregating to an amount of rupees one hundred eighty nine crores ninety eight lakhs twenty thousand only issued by the Punjab National Bank for the purposes of the said clause.
