In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (ii) of sub-section (1) of section 80L of the Income-tax Act, 1961 (43 of 1961), the Central Government hereby specifies the 7-year 15% (taxable) Secured Redeemable Non-convertible Bonds bearing distinctive numbers from 0200001 to 0430000, B-0190001 to B-0268000 and B-0768001 to 0788000 of Rs. 1,000 each aggregating to an amount of rupees thrity two crores and eighty lakhs only issued by the Northe Eastern Electric Power Corporation Limited, Shillong, for the purpose of the said clause.
